If what you want is a really good job, this is a golden opportunity. The Sheet
Metal Workers' Local 265 offers award winning apprentice training programs that annually
produce some of the top trainees in the country. The up-to-date class rooms and
work training areas at our Carol Stream school are second to none. Each instructor
is carefully chosen and fully trained to make the best use of your time and talents.
In either of our programs, you will work with a respected, local sheet metal contractor and you
will earn while you learn. As your skills and proficiency increase, you'll become a
more valuable employee and receive additional compensation each time you reach specified
levels of training.
The majority of our students complete the training and go on to have productive careers
in the construction or service industry. No experience is necessary. Just a willingness
to work hard and do your best.
Our program is certified by the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of
Apprenticeship and Training. It is an Affirmative Action Program, and an Equal
