For those members who are NOT receiving retirement benefits, you may now go ONLINE to access your reported work hours history, most recent pension credits, and mailing address according to the Sheet Metal Workers' National Pension Fund! Access is provided in a secure environment using proven data encryption techniques.

In order to utilize this feature, you must have your social security number and SMWIA membership number available. If you do not have a SMWIA membership number but desire this information, you may contact the National Pension Office via e-mail or phone at 1-800-231-4622.

Below are instructions for Plan Participant Access:

  1. Go to www.smwnpf.org. This will bring you to the NPF Home Page.
  2. From the NPF Home Page, click on ABOUT YOU, located on the left side of the page.
  3. In the fields provided, enter your social security number and your SMWIA membership number. IMPORTANT: The SMWIA membership number is an 8-digit number including two leading zeros. The site is designed to only accept the final 6 digits of your membership number.
  4. Provided the information entered in step 3 matches NPF's records, you will be taken to a menu with various options. You may select any of the options and view/print the information. While online, you also have the ability to correct and update your address information.
